This is a descriptive guide to crafting. This will show you what you should cut for each level of crafting.
What is included?:
This guide will include a step-by-step instruction of how to get to the stores, and which gems to cut for each level. Pictures of each gem. Experience rates for each gem. What each gem cost, sells for, and profit.
Beginning:
To begin with go to you spell tab and press the home teleport if you are not already there:
After you have clicked on the teleport that brings you home talk to Mr. Ex. He looks like this:
After talking to Mr. Ex he should give you a few options, click the one that says "Shops (new location)":
This option brings you to the shops. You will want to trade the shopkeeper in the Northwest corner:
Buy a chisel from him and you are now ready to start crafting.
Here are the gems and there details:
Opal:
Experience: 525 P/G
Level: 1-13
Price: 20 gp
Sell price (cut): 50 gp
Profit: 30 gp
Other information:
You will have cut about four (4) opal gems to get to level 13 in crafting. This is a total profit of 80 gp.
Jade:
Experience: 700 P/G
Level: 13-16
Price: 30 gp
Sell price (cut): 70 gp
Profit: 40 gp
Other information:
You will have cut one (1) jade gem to get to level 16 crafting. This is a total profit of 40 gp.
Red Topaz:
Experience: 875 P/G
Level: 16-20
Price: 40 gp
Sell price (cut): 15500 gp
Profit: 15460 gp
Other information:
You will have cut about two (2) red topaz gems to get to level 20 crafting. This is a total profit of 30920 gp.
Sapphire:
Experience: 1,750 P/G
Level: 20-27
Price: 25 gp
Sell price (cut): 125 gp
Profit: 100 gp
Other information:
It will take about three (3) sapphires to get to level 27 crafting. This is a total profit of 300 gp.
Emerald:
Experience: 2,345 P/G
Level: 27-34
Price: 50 gp
Sell price (cut): 250 gp
Profit: 200 gp
Other information:
You will cut about five (5) emerald gems to get to level 34 crafting. This is a total profit of 10,000 gp.
Ruby:
Experience: 2,975 P/G
Level: 34-43
Price: 100 gp
Sell price (cut): 500 gp
Profit: 400 gp
Other information:
You will cut about ten (10) ruby gems to get to level 43 in crafting. This is a total profit of 4,000 gp.
Diamond:
Experience: 3,762 P/G
Level: 43-55
Price: 200 gp
Sell price (cut): 1,000 gp
Profit: 800 gp
Other information:
You will cut about thirty-one (31) diamond gems. This is a total profit of 24,800 gp.
Dragon stone:
Experience: 4,812 P/G
Level: 55-67(99)
Price: 1000 gp
Sell price (cut): 5,000 gp
Profit: 4,000 gp
Other information:
You will cut about seventy-nine (79) dragon stone gems to get to level 67 crafting. This is a total profit of 316,000 gp.
You will cut two-thousand six-hundred and seventy-six (2,676) dragone stone gems to get to level 99 crafting. This is a total profit of 9,564,000 gp.
Do not cut onyx!
Onyx:
Experience: 5,880 P/G
Level: 67-99(0)
Price: 1,800,000 gp
Sell price (cut): 150,000 gp
Profit: -1,650,000 gp
Other information:
This gem is not worth cutting for crafting levels. Do not buy onyx in the store.
You will cut about two-thousand one-hundred (2,100) onyx gems to get to level 99 crafting. This is a total profit of -3,465,000,000 gp.
Total Experience: 3,043,695
Total profit: 10,765,180 gp
